Charles M. Denning

Charles M. Denning, 33, of Mt. Vernon, passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2023. He was born in Evansville on September 22, 1989, the son of Mike and Rita (Cox) Denning. 

Charlie was a 2008 Mt. Vernon High School graduate. He had been a member of the Point Township Fire Department. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, or anything that had him outdoors. He was always a good-hearted person that would do anything for anyone. He truly loved his family and his daughter Paige. He was also a great uncle to his nieces and nephews. 

He is survived by his daughter, Paige Denning; siblings, Bill (Kari) Denning, Sara (Steve) Wright, Tara (Chris) Neaveill; grandmother, Bessie Allyn, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents. 

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, June 6th, 2023, at the Denning Family Funeral Home, with Rev. Bryan Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at the Wiess Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 11:00 am until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the Beyond the Wall Ministry/Point Township Church.
