Clinton W. Goodwin

Clinton Goodwin, 71, of Mt. Vernon, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at Mt. Vernon Nursing and Rehab. Clinton was born on February 1, 1952, the son of Bill and Bessie (Willingham) Goodwin.

Clinton enjoyed singing and in his younger years loved to play pool.

Clinton is survived by his brother, David Goodwin; and sisters, Julie Becker and Jenny Hogan. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Marvin, William, Johnny, and Jimmy Goodwin; sisters, Mary Cooney, Frances Walker, and Amy Ewer.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at Black’s Cemetery in Mt. Vernon. Online condolences may be left at denningfamilyfuneralhome.com
