Gregory O. Sebree, 55, of Mt. Vernon, passed away on October 7, 2025, at Deaconess Hospital. Greg was born in Evansville on July 1, 1970, the son of Robert “Bob” and Thelma (Lee) Sebree.
Greg was a 1988 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School. He entered the workforce immediately after graduation and took great pride in maintaining a strong work ethic throughout his life. Greg worked for Men’s Wearhouse for many years, where his dedication and leadership earned him the position of Regional Manager.
Outside of his career, Greg enjoyed biking, playing pool, and joining family and friends for a game of basketball or football. He also loved to cook and was known for his generous spirit. Greg was not only hardworking but also a loyal friend who took great pride in helping others whenever he could.
Greg is survived by his longtime fiancée, Kaycee Cavins; his mother, Thelma Sebree; children, Forrest Sebree, Shelby (Allen) Travis, and Truston Waller; grandson, Ezra Sebree; sisters, Felicia Sebree and Charlotte Sebree; and stepchildren, Saige Mize and Drew Horton; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert “Bob” Sebree, and brothers, Richard and William Sebree.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Denning Family Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, with Rev. Mark Tabor officiating. Visitation will take place from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
