Jack Brown Obituary

Jack F. Brown, 78, of Griffin, IN, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. Jack was born on March 2, 1945, the son of Charles and Thelma (Agee) Brown. His wife, Anna (Rueger) Brown, preceded him in death on January 24, 2016.

Jack was drafted into the United States Army and served overseas in Germany. Jack later went to work as a welder/fitter for International Steel Company, where he worked on many projects including the Sears Tower. Jack enjoyed playing Playstation, Horseshoes, Poker, and talking politics.

He is survived by his sons, Jeremy and Matthew Brown; grandchildren, Brayden and Kameron Brown, and Madison Crews; and sisters, Bille Jean Reynolds, and Peggy Lindsey. He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Ewing; brother, Harlen Brown; sister, Jimmie Ellen.
