James H. Goff

James H. Goff, born on January 25, 1955, to Hubert and Martha (Johnson) Goff, passed away on December 31, 2024, at Mt. Vernon Nursing and Rehab.

A lifelong resident of the Mt. Vernon area, James, affectionately known as Jimmy to many, graduated from Mt. Vernon High School with the Class of 1973. Over the years, he worked for Hasting Implements, assisted various farmers in the community, and installed aluminum siding. Jimmy was known for his enjoyment of spending time with friends and the connections he built throughout his life.

James was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Anita Goff; his brother, Steve Goff; and his nephew, Joseph Folz. He is survived by his sisters, Patsy (Jim) Folz and Mary Sue Goff; his niece, Mary Beth Henrich; and his nephew, JC Seyffarth.

In accordance with Jimmy's wishes, no services will be held.
