Johnny W. Stratton

Johnny W. Stratton, 71, of Evansville, formerly Mt. Vernon, passed away on September 24, 2024, at Deaconess Hospital. Johnny was born on September 20, 1953, the son of Richard and Mary Stratton.

Johnny joined the United States Army and proudly served his Country. After his time in the service, he helped his father with jobs. He loved fishing, hunting, trapping, or anything that got him outdoors. He spent much time repurposing things to make his crafty items, just anything to keep him busy.

Johnny is survived by his siblings, Richard (Martha) Stratton, Larry (Joan) Stratton, Linda (Edward) Hutchison, and Karen (Mark) Wichser; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Gloria Bridges and Mary McMahn.
