Kathy L. (Pollard) Ross

Kathy L. (Pollard) Ross, 66, of Wadesville, Indiana, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2025. She was born on November 12, 1958, the oldest daughter of Paul and Faye (Bailey) Pollard.

A 1977 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School, Kathy began her career at the Mt. Vernon Lumber Company, where she worked until its closing. She later held positions at Whirlpool and concluded her professional journey at PPG.

Kathy was known for her kind heart and loving nature. She was especially devoted to her son and cherished the close bonds she maintained throughout her life.

She is survived by her son, John Ross (Kelly Barton); sister, Carolyn Turner; brother, Kelly Pollard (Tammy); and a dear lifelong friend, Lee Ann (Wolfe) Hart. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation for Kathy will be held from 11:00 am until 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at Denning Family Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm with Rev. Dallas Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at Bethany–Old Beech Cemetery in New Harmony, where she will be laid to rest beside her parents.
