Linda L. (White) Nation

Linda Lou (White) Nation, 60, of Mt. Vernon passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, from a heart attack at her home. Linda was born in Paducah, Ky, on March 25, 1963, the daughter of Alpha Byrd and George White. She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Roy E. Nation Jr.

Linda cleaned for several years for different businesses in the area. Linda loved watching the birds in the yard. She set several bird feeders around her house and ensured all the local birds were fed.

Linda is survived by her husband, daughter, Nicky White; grandchildren, Jasmine and Adam White, all from Paducah Ky; sisters, Bonnie Jo Dillard (Marvin) of Mt. Vernon, and Mary Mayes (Scott) of Evansville; brother, George “Willie” White of Mt. Vernon; nephew William White of Elkhart, In; niece, Crystal of Evansville; step-daughter, Kayla Fay Nation and step-grandchildren of Evansville.

She is preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Alpha Lou Byrd and Darrell Byrd; and father, George “Buddy” White.
