Mary J. (Heath) Lafave

Mary Jane Lafave, 64, of Mt. Vernon, passed away on June 29, 2024, at Deaconess Hospital. Mary was born on September 12, 1959, the daughter of the late Harold and Helen (Stallings) Heath, Sr.

Mary made a large impact on her family and friends. She had a giving heart and was willing to step up and help anyone with anything. She loved her family and spent a lot of time with them when she was able, especially her grandson, Gary Esche, and great-niece, Karmah Anderson. Mary also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and cooking.

Mary is survived by her grandson, Gary; siblings, Harold (Toni) Heath, Kevin (Randy Pipher) Heath, and Cindy Heath, and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her son, John Esche; siblings, Terry Heath and Carolyn Heath.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024, from 10:00 am until noon at The Landing, 111 E Water Street, conference room in Mt. Vernon.
