Mary H. (Hobson) Stillwagoner, 60, of Mt. Vernon, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023. Mary was born on March 3, 1963, the daughter of Clyde and Helen (Strean) Hobson. She is survived by her husband EJ Stillwagoner Sr.

Mary retired from the Posey County Clerk’s office. Mary was a devoted wife, mother, and especially grandmother. She loved spending time and spoiling them every chance she got.

Mary is survived by her husband, EJ Sr; daughter, Misty (Jeff, Sr.) Weir; stepchildren, EJ (Tonya) Stillwagoner, Jr, Melanie (Chris) Garza; and Johnathon Stillwagoner; grandchildren, Lukah, Maverick, Krosby, Scheyer, and Siobhan; step-grandchildren, Lyndsey, Tiffany, Kristina, Zachary, Dominick, Katlynn, Kyla, Kayme, Jayden, Justice, Patience, and Aurora, and great-grandson, Malachi; honorary grandchildren, Tristan, Gracey, and Amanda; nieces and nephews, Rebecca (Eric), Jennette (Harry), Daniel, James (Brenda), Junior (Candace) and Bobby.  She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Norman “Tiny”, James, and Lloyd Hobson, and sister-in-law, Ora Hobson.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at the Denning Family Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon with Pastor Rick Sellers officiating.
