Michael C. Little

Michael C. Little, 48, of Mt. Vernon, passed away on September 15, 2024. Mike was born in Evansville on May 11, 1976, the son of Raymond and Carolyn (Strader) Little.

Mike enjoyed spending as much time as possible with his children and grandchildren and always tried to have fun with them and make sure they were always taken care of. His children have a lot of amazing memories shared with him over the years. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, especially with his son, Blake, who had a similar interest. He was a huge Dale Earnhardt fan. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and taking walks with his family and his love language was making a home-cooked meal for everyone to enjoy

Mike was always a hard worker even when he was limited to work due to health issues. He always tried to find work to keep him busy. He worked for many years at Lewis Bakery. He also worked on golf carts in New Harmony and helped others with their vehicles when he could. His children will remember him for his heart and the way he raised them to be hard workers and to never back down.

He is survived by his children, Lisa (Devin) Little, Tyler Little, Samantha (Robert) Little, and Blake (Elissa Howell-Egan) Little; grandchildren, Cannon Vaughn, Ky’Ren Vaughn, and expected grandson, Theo Michael Little; brother, Ray (Stacy) Little, Lifelong friend, Jon Hoehn; and his dog, Rainey. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Timmy Little.
