Sharon O’Donnell Hartmann, a native of Mount Vernon, Indiana, and resident of Evansville, went to be with the Lord on December 3, 2023, at the age of 89.
Visitation will be held on December 7, 2023, at 9:00 am at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in Mount Vernon, Indiana with a mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 am.
Her life was a testament to her love of family. Sharon is survived by her three sons, David and Brian Hartmann of Evansville, Indiana, and John (Cindy) Hartmann of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Four grandchildren, Andrew (Lexie) Hartmann of Evansville, Indiana, Brett and William Hartmann of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Whitney Hartmann of Columbus, Ohio. Great grandchildren, Angeliqua, Andrew, Hope, and Kaitlyn Hartmann of Evansville, Indiana.
Sharon was preceded in death by her loving husband of 69 years, William James Hartmann Jr., her parents, Eddie and Mary Robinson O’Donnell, and her brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Betty O’Donnell.
Sharon had a great fashion sense and took great pride in always looking her best. She was also an excellent cook and baker. She loved to laugh and delighted in conversations with those she loved. Sharon was a football fan. Her favorite teams were the New Orleans Saints, LSU, and Joe Burrow and the Bengals. She also was a dog lover.
