Theresa K. (Reidford) Johnson

Theresa K. Johnson, 65, of Mt. Vernon, IN, passed away on October 30, 2024. A dedicated custodian who retired from the MSD of Mt. Vernon and previously worked at the University of Southern Indiana, Theresa was known for her strong work ethic and warm smile.

Theresa’s life was filled with the simple joys of family and friends. She cherished her time spent crocheting, visiting their Kentucky Lake property and enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s sports activities. She left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband, David Johnson; her two daughters, Wendy Neaveill (Bob) and Valerie Polage (Craig); and her adored grandchildren, Kyle, Brandon, and Ethan Neaveill, Natalee and Ella Polage. Theresa was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Jeanette Reidford, and is lovingly remembered by her siblings, Larry Reidford (Susan), David Reidford (Nancy), and Edie Creek (Jeff), nieces and nephews, mother-in-law Irene Johnson and sister-in-law Crystal Ramsey (Mitch).
