Jacqueline M. Overton, 74, of Mt. Vernon, passed away at her home on February 27, 2024. Jacquelin was born in Mt. Vernon on August 15, 1949, the daughter of Chester and Velma (Anderson) Rowe.

Jacquelin was a kind-hearted loving woman. She took on the role of Mom for many people, her home was always open to everyone. She was a shoulder to cry on or there to celebrate your victories with you and everywhere in between. She loved her family fiercely and cherished every moment she spent with them. She also loved crafting and could be found making all kinds of different crafts.

Jacquelin is survived by her children, Angela Potts, Marion Overton, and Donnie Overton; 8 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren, siblings, Mary Christmas, Judy Goodwin, Gary Rowe, Bobby Rowe, and Billy Rowe.

Family and Friends may visit with family on Monday, March 4, 2024, at the Denning Family Funeral Home in Mt Vernon from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. The burial will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be left at denningfamilyfuneralhome.com
