Michael E. Williams

Michael E. Williams, 44, of Mt. Vernon, lost his hard fight against cancer on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at Linda White Hospice. Michael was born in Bakersfield, California on March 2, 1979, the son of Timothy Mark Williams and Karen Lynn (Umbenhower) Williams. He married Claudia (Martinez) Williams on September 12, 2018.

Michael followed his dreams and became a truck driver. He enjoyed messing with CB radios. He also liked camping, hunting, and fishing. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his wife, and children.

Michael was survived by his parents Timothy (Jane) and Karen; wife, Claudia; children, Isaac, Jacob, Adela, and Brooke; sisters, Christina Dowdy and Bobbi Jo Shephard; and numerous nieces and nephews.   

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on March 20, 2023, at the Denning Family Funeral Home, with Pastor Chris Millay officiating. Burial will follow at Blacks Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 11:00 until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to Denning Family Funeral Home to help defray the funeral expense.
